Letter to the Editor: VP student affairs should step down immediately

I think that some one that is holding a position on the SRC that has no intentions on finishing their term as an executive should have to step down immediately.

It seems that Ben Manzer is staying in this position just for the pay-cheque.

He informed the rest of the council the week after the by-elections had happened, too late for a by-election to take place.

To me he is doing what he can to not lose his position.

Due to Ben leaving, the SRC will have to fill the position with a person that they will have to train for the role, which will end up hurting the clubs and societies at UNB.

Over the next two months the vp student affairs has no reason to perform their duties because they are leaving anyways.

I think that the SRC should do something in this situation so there can be a person placed in the position immediately, that has intentions to fulfill all of the requirements for the rest of the term.
